Diversity and Distribution of Spiders (Araneae) in the Galunggung Mountain Area

Spiders are classified as Anthrophoda, Arachnida, and Araneae. into two types based on their life patterns: web-making hunting, commonly known trapdoor spiders. This study aimed to assess the diversity of spider distribution (Ordo Araneae) near Mount Galunggung. is quantitative. The VES (Visual Encounter Survey) method was utilized collect data. 1) Gadobangkong waterfall, 2) Panoongan 3) Cimedang waterfall sampling places. reseach gate 17 spesies spiders; Argiope aemula, anasuja, Leucauge celebesiana, Nephila pilipes, Oxyopes salticus, Nephilengys malabarensis, Tetragnatha Montana, appensa, catenulate, Cyrtophora moluccensis, Zotahpeventralis hasel, Dolomedes vittalus were discovered. celebesiana most frequent species Tylorida ventralis, least common. Each which has only one individual.ABSTRAK: Laba–laba termasuk ke dalam filum Antrophoda, kelas dan Ordo Berdasarkan pola hidupnya laba–laba terbagi menjadi pembuat jaring laba- laba pemburu atau dikenal juga dengan laba-laba pintu jebakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui diversitas distribusi di sekitar Gunung Penelitian merupakan kuantitatif, Metode yang gunakan pengumpulan data adalah metode dikombinasikan petak kuadran. Adapun lokasi pengambilan sampel yaitu Curug Gadobangkong, Panoongan, Cimedang. Hasil peroleh jenis – laba; moluccensissis, Macrachantha hasselti, Herennia multipuncata, Gasterachantaha kuhli, reinwardti, Zoropsis spinimana, vittalus. Jenis paling banyak temukan sedikit Yang masing masih hanya ditemukan 1 individu.
